Dudes, Dunes and $20 Shoes

Movie Review:
Sex and the City 2 is the yang to the first film's ying. This time around the film is more light hearted and fun since the girls leave their troubles in New York behind to spend an all expenses paid trip to the fabulous Abu Dhabi. Even though the characters of the beloved show live such extravagant lives, the writers made sure to mention the down fall of the economy and this kept the movie up to date. Even though Carrie and the girls are also among the many people dealing with economic troubles, the fashion does not seem to be affected at all. In a karaoke bar scene, you can spot the infamous Carrie Bradshaw wearing a silver Chanel dress that will set you back $47,000. All in all the movie feels like an estimated two and a half hour vacation with your girls that keeps the laughs coming and stays true to Sex and the City fashion....literally.
